Darrell will be sharing his tactics for turkey hunting with decoys, set ups, running and gunning and more!

6:00 PM - Ryan Swanson, Blood Tracking (Seminar Room 2)

Ryan Swanson will be representing Kline Munstlander Group North America, and will be speaking on blood tracking with dogs. He will cover the new laws regarding blood tracking hounds in MN, basic gear and equipment, and how to get your dog started in blood tracking!

In this presentation, Steve will be teaching and demonstrating how to hunt coyotes with hounds. this presentation is a crowd favorite and is sure to captivate the whole family.

11:00 AM - Mission Critical, Preparing for the Shot that Counts (Seminar

Room 2)

Tired of struggling with an inaccurate rifle or missing that critical shot. How about just getting better groups or consistent data on that expensive rifle for that all important critical shot on a once in as life time trophy animal. That precision shot should not depend on a guess of your range, evaluation or windage or how someone else set up your gear. Short and long range shooting, equipment selection, scope mounting and use, ballistics and ammunition selection, data books, elevation shooting, rifle rests and positional shooting and a host of other topics addressed are imperative to critical marksmanship. Come and take the challenge to be a better marksman. This course is taught by a former U.S Army and Swat Team Sniper (with operational in- theater experience) and current long range precision shooting instructor.

Steve will draw from his extensive knowledge of whitetail deer to briefly cover how antlers grow. He will also cover cause and effect of antler injuries and how to encourage bucks on your land to grow bigger and better antlers!

Personal and home safety is not a magical plan for the safety and security of you and your family, but rather is about being prepared, having common sense plans and being able to assess and react appropriately to a variety of circumstances to heighten your abilities and help you to recognize, avoid, prevent, and be safe while being Situationally and Tactically Aware of all your environments. Preparation and Awareness are the keys to safety success. This course is taught by a former Soldier with extensive in-theater operational experience and a current Police Sergeant and former Swat operator.
